From the time teenagers learn how to drive to the time that adults are searching for that perfect car, there is a dream car. No matter who you are or which car you lust over, buying a car isn’t always the easiest process.  However, having the perfect car is like having the perfect little black dress.

For those who are a little hesitant about buying a car, there are many ways that you can save money on your dream car. For instance, when you start your search for your car make sure to shop around. If you are buying from a dealership it is a good idea to get price quotes from different dealers. Each dealership will have different pricing and most will negotiate with customers. Also, if you are buying from a dealership make sure you are not paying the MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price); most dealerships are willing to come down from that price.

Another great way to save money, if you already own a car, is to check into getting a car refinance loan. You can use the money that you receive from refinancing to put towards a down payment or even partial payment on the car. This way if and when you request an additional loan on the car, you can receive a lower interest and payment rate.

Whether you are MC Hammer and looking for a car that matches your parachute pants or just a thrifty shopper who has waited long enough for the dream car, saving money can be very simple.
